The tree is a fairly large and vigorous grower, with a rounded canopy capable of attaining heights between 20 and 30 feet.


Dasheri (dusheri) is a variety of mango grown in different parts of North India, Nepal and Pakistan.In the 18th century, the Dasheri mango first appeared in the gardens of Nawab of Lucknow. Since then numbers of Dasheri plants have been produced and planted throughout India.People from village Dasheri near Kakori, Uttar Pradesh believe that they have the mother plant of Dasheri mango which gave this variety of mango same name.Malihabad, Uttar Pradesh is the largest producer of Dasheri mango.
Badami mango is grown in southern parts of India in the months of May, June and July and is exported all around the world. It is eaten both raw and is also consumed in the form of mango shakes.. It has a soft flesh and it is often said that it when eaten cold then it is extraordinarily delicious. Also, its pale yellow color makes it all the more elegant and beautiful in looking.
Alphonso is the most exquisite variety of mango and is the best when it comes to flavor, appearance and richness. The flesh is orange-yellow and has a mild and aromatic flavor, with minimal fiber, and contains amonoembryonic seed.
